Ritual and Ceremony

As a hospice nurse, and an end-of-life doula, I use a lot of ritual and ceremony in my work. I have witnessed the comfort it brings to patients and their families, and the many ways it can help soften the grief journey.

My goal is to hand over some of my tools to help you create your own rituals and ceremonies, while at the same time offering you comfort, support and relief from whatever you might be struggling with.

I have learned that they can help with grief and loss, but also stress, anxiety, panic attacks, regret,

guilt, and emotional pain that has been held in for far too long.

I offer two different classes; one that focuses on grief, and another that focuses on forgiveness. In each class I will do two rituals for the group, which can be difficult and emotional, but also incredibly healing.

Each class is 1 ½-2 hours.

Note: I also offer private ritual classes, which are one hour (unless more time is needed)

and designed especially for you and what you need.

The next classes are as follows:

GRIEF

Sunday, August 25th, 11am-1pm (Pacific Time)

Sunday, October 6th, 11am-1pm (Pacific Time)

FORGIVENESS OF SELF & OTHERS

Sunday, October 13th 10am-12pm (Pacific Time)

Saturday, December 7th,  9am 11am (Pacific Time)

Cost for each class is $25 (US dollars).

Two spots will always be available for those who want to attend but cannot pay the course fee.

The Scholarship Fund

I offer scholarship spots for all of my classes so that anyone can take them, and finances do not get in their way. I have been asked how someone can donate a scholarship spot, so I have created a donation page for that purpose.

All donations will go directly to allowing someone else to take a class.

Thank you in advance for your generosity!

"This is a wonderful course. I am a hospice nurse, and I have been using one of the rituals I learned from Gabby, with my families after their loved one has died.

I want to learn more." LR

"I didn't get to say goodbye to my grandmother before she died. Gabby shared a beautiful ritual with us in class that I did later, leaving me feeling as though my grandmother received my message... the things I didn't get to say before she died." HG

"I recently took the ritual & ceremony class and am beyond grateful for the experience. I learned so much and was able to connect with other like-minded individuals. Gabby's passion for making the end of life transition peaceful and meaningful is truly inspiring. I would highly recommend taking her course."

"I did this class with my mom, we really enjoyed it. I would recommend it to anyone. As Gabby says,

you will leave with a take-away." LP

"You will probably cry in this class, but it is the kind of cry that you will feel so much relief from afterwards." JH

"The forgiveness class was amazing, I recommend it to anyone, and everyone!!" SS
